Brick Lane NOTES the points so far [ as at 1415 GMT London Wednesday 10 december 2008] made against Purnell’s fabrication, by John Mcdonnell and separately by Jenny Wilott [Lib Dem]

Brick Lane records a big cheer for Jenny Willott for her statement made in response to Purnell in the House of Commons this afternoon. Especially we endorse the conceptual analysis she read out in her statement drawing a crucial distinction between poverty OUT of work and poverty IN work..

And we also record another word of condemnaion for James Purnell for misrepresenting the position that Jenny Wilott had made.
